We collect information in the following ways depending on whether you are a client, a job candidate / remote professional, or a general website visitor.

Information You Provide Directly:

2. Candidate applications: Full name, email, phone number, work history, CV/resume, skills, portfolio links, expected compensation, availability, and timezone.
3. Client onboarding: Company name, registration details, billing address, contact person details, job descriptions, and role requirements.

1. With Client Businesses: When you submit an application or join our talent pool, your professional profile (including your name, skills, experience, CV, and availability) may be shared with prospective client companies looking to fill relevant roles.
2. With Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our business, including cloud hosting providers, applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRMs, communication tools, payment processors, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). All service providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.
3. Legal Compliance & Protection: We may disclose personal information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of OurTeam, our clients, candidates, or the public.
4. Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6 Data Retention

• Active client and candidate records: Retained for the duration of the business relationship and for up to 5 years thereafter to meet contractual, tax, and legal obligations.
• Unsuccessful candidate profiles: Up to 2 years for future opportunity matching, unless you request the deletion of your data sooner.
• Contact form enquiries: Up to 12 months unless a business relationship develops.
• Website analytics data: Typically 26 months in aggregated, anonymised form.

7 International Data Transfers

As a UAE-based company placing remote talent globally, personal data will be transferred to and processed in countries outside your home country (including outside the UAE or the EEA).
